Goalkeepers will be expected to slot straight into playing academy football so they are after a very high standard. Both Grimsby and Scunthorpe said that the one of the main reasons that they have signed them is that they have been coached properly. Unless you have been coached by a goalkeeper coach (they must have played in goal to a good standard) then you will not fulfil your potential.
